Ways to let love in your life
Love yourself.
How can you expect someone else to Love you if you don’t truly Love yourself. Loving yourself doesn’t mean being perfect, perhaps the lesson is to Love yourself, despite what you think your short comings are - celebrate you, all of you. Our idiosyncrasies is our unquietness, cherish what makes you, YOU.
Give Love.
A way to welcome Love into your heart is to give it to nature, animals, people - An act of kindness goes a long way for others and your soul. Kindness has the potential to shine a little light in the darkest of places.
Accept Love.
It is very common that people are able to give Love but have trouble accepting Love. Often it is our fears that get in the way. Learning how to establish your boundaries while accepting Love and other people’s acts of kindness is important for the soul. Start small and build from there, if someone opens the door for you, walk through. Always always trust your instincts, it is different than fear (the fight or fly concept). Take a deep breath and listen to your gut. It is always right.
Celebrate Love.
Whatever Love means to you celebrate it, recognize it and cherish it. You don’t have to be ‘in Love’ to experience Love. There are so many different types of Love. We often get focused on the type of Love we don’t currently have rather than celebrating the type of Love we do have in our lives.
